Study Resources

Grow deeper in the Word.

These resources are here to help you slow down, pay attention to the text, and respond faithfully to what God reveals through His Word.

Before You Begin

Prepare to meet the Word

Before we gather, use this simple rhythm to slow down and approach the passage attentively.

  1. 01

    Read the passage once slowly.

  2. 02

Read it again and mark repeated words or phrases.

  3. 03

    Write down one observation.

  4. 04

    Write down one question.

  5. 05

Note where the passage confronts, comforts, corrects, or clarifies.

  6. 06

Pray: “Lord, help me receive Your Word with humility and respond with obedience.”

Our Method

What is inductive Bible study?

Inductive Bible study means letting the text shape your understanding rather than bringing your conclusions to the text. We move from observation to interpretation to application — slow, careful, prayerful.

01

Observe

What does the passage say?

02

Interpret

What does the passage mean?

03

Apply

How should I respond?

Return to the Word

A rhythm for the week

After each gathering, return to the passage at least once during the week.

  • What did this passage reveal about God?
  • What did it reveal about me?
  • What truth do I need to believe?
  • What correction do I need to receive?
  • What obedience is required?
  • What do I need to pray in response?
